Engineered for neonatal non-invasive respiratory support, the MBS Miniflow Generator delivers continuous positive airway pressure (nCPAP), non-invasive bilevel support (nBiPAP), and synchronized non-invasive ventilation to premature neonates and critically ill infants. Positioned at the junction between the dual-limb breathing circuit and the patient’s nasal interface, the generator utilizes advanced fluidic flow dynamics. It transforms continuous fresh gas flow into stable, fluid-cushioned positive airway pressure directly at the infant’s nares, reducing both inspiratory effort and expiratory resistance compared to conventional fixed-orifice valve systems. Constructed from ultra-lightweight, medical-grade shatterproof polymers, the generator minimizes mechanical downward drag and rotational torque on delicate infant airways, significantly decreasing the risk of accidental decannulation or interface displacement. Equipped with dedicated pressure-monitoring lines for real-time airway pressure tracking, it provides consistent micro-calibrated pressure delivery essential for Level II and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs).
