Designed for advanced critical care ventilation in fragile neonates and premature infants, the Dual Heated-Wire (DHW) circuit integrates embedded heating elements within both the inspiratory and expiratory limbs. This dual-zone thermal stabilization prevents condensation and moisture accumulation throughout the entire circuit path. By actively warming the expiratory limb, it eliminates the need for manual water traps, prevents ventilator auto-triggering caused by condensation splashing, and shields sensitive expiratory flow sensors and exhalation valves from liquid moisture damage. The circuit is manufactured from ultra-low compliance, medical-grade materials that prevent volume loss during high-frequency or pressure-controlled micro-ventilation modes. Its lightweight, ultra-flexible profile reduces mechanical strain on delicate neonatal endotracheal tubes. Supplied without a chamber, this configuration provides cost-effective flexibility for NICUs and pediatric intensive care units that utilize reusable or standardized auto-feed humidifier chambers.
